Vulcan is the Roman God of the forge.  The giant Vulcan statue in Birmingham was created to represent the industrial strength of the region.  And you can climb to the top to get a bird’s eye view of downtown.

    • We went to Birmingham last Fall and I wanted this to follow the previous blogs that I did from that area. I fell behind on the photo challenge! Actually we went to the Polo Match in Lakewood Ranch for Valentine’s Day – hmmm…. maybe there’s a theme that will support some of the pictures taken that day!
